    Description

    Awesome estate sale find.  Scored this classic from an online auction with a box of ratchets.
    Vintage Snap-on 71MV Ratchet 1/2" Drive.
    Lever to reverse direction works as it should. I took ratchet apart for cleaning and applied small amount of grease then reassembled.  Teeth on cog sure look to be in very good if not excellent condition.  Click for left direction is stronger than to the right.  Not sure why but always like to give full disclosure.  Ratchet does not have owners marks but finish does have blemishes with chrome missing on 20-30% of ratchet.  For the handle where the lettering is located there are some circles on the finish (use zoom feature for pics #1-3).  Assume ratchet laid on something for a long time.
